1. Using kalinda
Who May Use Our Services
Use or access by anyone under 13 years of age is strictly prohibited. You may use our Services only if you can form a binding contract with kalinda and agree to comply with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy below. Any violation of these Terms or applicable law may result in your account being suspended or terminated.
When creating your kalinda account, you must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date. You must create and use only one account, and you must not share your account or login details with anyone else.
Our License to You
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to use our Services for personal, non-commercial learning purposes. Using our Services does not give you ownership of, or intellectual property rights in, our Services or the course content you access.
2. Courses
kalinda offers structured, mentor-led courses across categories such as trading, technology, marketing, and design. We reserve the right to update, reschedule, or modify any course, including its syllabus, instructors, or pricing. Enrollment in a course does not constitute a degree or formally accredited qualification unless explicitly stated.
3. Your Content
If our Services let you submit content — such as assignments, reviews, or messages to support ("Your Content") — you retain ownership of it, but grant kalinda a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display it as necessary to operate and improve our Services. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
4. Security
We work to protect the security of your account, but cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never defeat our security measures. Please notify us immediately of any suspected compromise of your account at support@kalindamasters.in.
5. Third-Party Content
Our Services may link to or embed content from third parties (such as payment providers or embedded videos). We're not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or availability of third-party content, and your use of it is at your own risk.
6. Copyright and Trademark
kalinda respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. Course content, course materials, the kalinda name, and logo are the property of kalinda or its licensors and may not be copied, redistributed, or resold without permission.
7. Paid Services
kalinda offers paid course enrollments, priced in INR unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Razorpay. You're responsible for paying all applicable fees at the time of enrollment. Fees may change at our discretion but changes won't affect a course you've already paid for. Refunds, where available, are described in our Cancellation & Refunds policy.
8. Modifying or Terminating Our Services
We may add, remove, or change features of our Services at any time, and may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms. If we terminate a paid enrollment without cause, a refund may be available under our Cancellation & Refunds policy. You may stop using our Services and delete your account at any time.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our Services and course content are provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Course outcomes (such as job placement or skill mastery) are not guaranteed.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, kalinda shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to or use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the course giving rise to the claim.
Any claim related to the Services must be brought within six (6) months of it arising, or it will be permanently barred.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless kalinda from claims, liabilities, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
12. Governing Law and Venue
kalinda is managed from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and these Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
13. General Terms
We may revise these Terms at our discretion; revisions take effect immediately upon posting. For material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to notify you via the Site or by email. Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Acceptable Use Policy
kalinda aims to provide practical, accessible education while keeping our community safe. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this policy.
You may not:
- Share illegal content, or content that promotes illegal activity;
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or our staff;
- Violate the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
- Share your password or let anyone else access your account, or attempt to access another user's account;
- Reproduce, redistribute, or resell course content without authorisation;
- Attempt to access non-public areas of our systems, or circumvent our security measures;
- Interfere with our Services through viruses, spam, or overloading our systems;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with one; or
- Use manual, mechanical, or automated means to scrape data or content from our Services without our prior written consent.
